TRB Think Tank

August 22, 2023

What’s the difference between adapting and innovating?

Those with high adaptation prefer finding solutions using established systems, whereas those with high innovation go beyond the current norms to find new and untested solutions to problems.  That reminds me of a quote I once read about Henry Ford.  When asked about input in the development of the Ford Model T, Henry Ford famously said, “If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse.”  In the spirit of Henry Ford, let’s innovate.

So where will we find innovation?  From you.

No one knows our business better than you, so send us your ideas to help improve a process, gain efficiency, or promote TRB culture.  The TRB Think Tank is officially live.

The program is simple; here’s how it works:

  1. Submit your idea to TRBThinkTank@texasregionalbank.com
  2. Each month, a committee of your peers will review new ideas.
  3. If your idea is selected, you will get paid ($50-$1,000 based on the idea’s impact on TRB)

What I like about the think tank concept is that it brings together three of our core values: Innovation, Teamwork, and Success.  We look forward to hearing from you soon.
